We have hired the Aqua String Band, a mummers group from Philadelphia to lead us in the P-rade.  Click here to visit their web site where you can learn more about the group and view lots of pictures.

P-rade budget: If we want a band (presumably theme-oriented), it'll run $2,500-3,000, including their fee and feeding them lunch. Last time I spent about $1,800 on the photos-on-sticks, balloons and signs. The pix-on-sticks were very popular. The balloons were fine and we can do that again with the theme on them. The signs were junky - hand-lettered, kinda cheesy, and I'd rather do it more classily by getting them printed. Can you afford to budget $2,500 for P-rade stuff? If not, tell me what I can spend and I'll figure out how to get the best bang for the buck.

Brakeley Co-Chair -- Let's try for something unique that could win us the P-rade trophy.
