The Class of 1961 has booked 175 rooms in four hotels in the Route 1 corridor near Princeton for the reunion period of Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29, 2011. A few rooms have been booked for early arrivers on Wednesday evening May 25. We urge you to book ASAP since most hotels sell out during the reunion period. Except for the Hyatt Regency, your credit cards will not be charged until the spring of 2011. Then the reservations will be non-refundable.

 

      The university will operate shuttle buses between these hotels and campus. For those flying into Newark airport the hotel area can be reached by airport shuttle bus (check with hotel), train or rental car. The following hotels have been booked:

10 rooms have been allocated on Wed. 5/25, 50 on Thurs., and 75 on both Fri. and Sat. Room rates are $189 for Wed. night and $239 for Thurs., Fri. and Sat. nights. Add 15% for NJ taxes. ON-CAMPUS HOUSING

We will have available a number of on-campus rooms in the University dormitories surrounding our Reunion Headquarters at Blair/Joline. Beds per room or suite may range from 1 to 4. Price will be $120 per bed regardless of your length of stay. All rooms are non-smoking and will be assigned in the order in which the requests are received. Linens will be provided and a $50 refundable deposit will be required at the check-in desk for each key.

To make your request, please do so directly with Tom Donnelly either by email at tom.donnelly@akerman.com or phone at 202-255-0204.  When you register for the reunion, you will be able to pay for the beds (not including the key deposit) as part of the registration payment.  But assignments will be made in the order he receives them whether directly or through the registration forms.
