MEET THE UNDERGRADUATE CREW

Spencer Weisz '17

Crew Chief

I am honored to be able to serve as the Crew Chief for your 55th Reunion.

Having grown up in Florham Park, New Jersey, I attended Seton Hall Prep during high school before making my journey an hour south to attend Princeton. Currently, I am a Junior in the History Department as well as a member of the basketball team. This past summer I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to play for the Under-20 Israeli National Basketball Team where we competed in the European Championship in Italy.

Having worked Reunions this previous year as a member of the 50th Reunion crew, I gained knowledgeable experience of the logistics behind running a successful Reunions campaign. The crew members and I will be at your service throughout the course of the weekend to make your experience the best it can be. You all have established the rich tradition of Princeton University and serving you is our way of saying thanks.

I look forward to meeting all of you and to making your 55th Reunion one for the ages!

Henry Caruso '17

Assistant Crew Chief

My name is Henry Caruso and I am a junior. Prior to attending Princeton, I grew up in the Bay Area. I play for the Men’s Basketball team and I am a History major. I volunteer at local elementary schools through a Princeton University Student Athlete program called "Reading with Tigers.” Last year, I had the privilege of working the 50th Reunion &ndash it was a great success. I look forward to meeting the Great Class of 1961 and helping to make the 55th Reunion very enjoyable!

Ellie McDonald '17

Registration Mgr.

My name is Ellie McDonald and I'm a junior in the Operations Research and Financial Engineering department pursuing a certificate in the Latin American Studies Department.  I grew up right outside Washington, D.C, in Arlington, Virginia only to move up to the beautiful (and cold) Princeton, NJ for school.  On campus I am a member of the Tiger Inn and co-president of women's club soccer.  If I'm not out playing soccer or eating a meal you can probably find me in the East Asian Library, the prettiest library on campus.

 Haley Hineman '17

My name is Haley Hineman. I'm a native Californian, but thoroughly enjoying life on the East Coast. I am part of the Cannon Dial Elm Club here at Princeton. I am also part of the varsity softball team with another crew member, Claire Klausner. While athletics is a huge part of my life here on campus, I also find time to participate in my sorority (Kappa Alpha Theta), attend AdThis (Princeton's advertising club) events, and dedicate time to my major (architecture). I am grateful and excited to be part of the 55th Reunion Crew!

 Amanda Leavell '17

My name is Amanda Leavell, and I'm a junior in the Woodrow Wilson School from Houston, Texas. I am concentrating in Human Rights and pursuing a Spanish Language certificate. I am an RCA in Rockefeller College and am involved in lacrosse, an organization on campus called SPEAR (Students for Prison Education and Reform), and the Women's Mentorship Program. I enjoy whipping out my sick dance moves everywhere I walk in life, including Cannon, the eating club in which I am a member and have a strong affinity for pandas, laughing, and laughing at pandas. I look forward to meeting you all!

Cody Phillips '17

Hello all! My name is Cody Phillips and I am a junior in the Politics Department, originally from Simi Valley, California. I am an infielder on the baseball team, a member of the Student Athlete Service Council, as well as active in the student ministries Princeton Faith and Action and Athletes in Action on campus. In my free time I like to surf, go to the beach, and listen to music.

We're happy that the baseball team won the Ivy championship and got into the NCAA tournament. But we're sorry that Cody won't be able to be with us.

Jeanie Dwinell '17

Hi my name is Jeanie Dwinell. I am a junior in the history department. I am from Dedham, MA, a suburb just outside of Boston. I am a member of Cannon Dial Elm Club. I am a defender on the Women's Varsity Lacrosse Team. In my past two years on the team, we have made it to the second and third round of the NCAA tournament and are hoping to make it even farther this year. I am very excited to be working on this crew and meeting all the alumni at reunions!

Alexander Lee '17

Hello!

I am from Bethesda, Maryland--a suburb right outside of Washington, DC -- where I attended Georgetown Prep. Currently in my junior year at Princeton, I am an Economics major with certificates in Computer Science and finance. I am also a member of the JV Basketball team and the Cannon Dial Elm Club.

I love Princeton and look forward to welcoming you all back to what we know is the "Best Damn Place of All." I can't wait to meet all of you and serve you at your 55th Reunion!

Claire Klausner '17

I’m from Palo Alto, California and attended Gunn High School. I’m now a junior at Princeton in the Woodrow Wilson School and play on the Varsity Women’s Softball team. I’m in the Cannon club, the vice president of Technology for the Princeton Women in Business club and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

I attended reunions for the first time in 2014, but this year really wanted to take advantage of my last opportunity to work on a crew. It only seems right to serve you all before I end up at a reunion of my own. I can’t wait to meet the class of 1961!

Amir Bell '18

Hi, my name is Amir Bell and I live in East Brunswick, New Jersey, about 25 minutes away from Princeton. I plan on majoring in Economics or possibly in Politics. I'm also a member of the men's basketball team.  In my free time I enjoy watching movies, bowling and occasionally some rounds of golf. I would love to be able to travel the world and experience various different cultures.  I look forward to meeting you all at reunions, I'm sure it'll be a wonderful time.
